In August 2020, I was unexpectedly hospitalized for the first time in my life (besides pregnancy and childbirth, that is) for appendicitis. I was distressed over my health and hit by the realization that I did not have a hospital plan that could cover my hospital bills.
Given my age, I was also unsure on whether insurance companies would be willing to provide me with the adequate coverage. I was then introduced to Wil-son by my daughter, who went the extra mile to search and analyze insurance policies, before patiently explaining and recommending the most appropriate coverage for me.
I am much appreciative for the patience and support rendered by Wil-son during this difficult period and his sincerity and genuine concern towards his clients.
To me, he is not an agent, but a trusted family friend. | | | | Juay Puay Yong Non-Executive Director Wil-son is very sincere and patient. Rather than pressuring me to take on new plans, he give his neutral opinion and advise accordingly based on what he understands about our family needs and priorities.
Every time I reach out to him on queries that I have, he will definitely check on it and get the answers to me.
Though I do not know him for long, he is definitely someone whom I will look for and trust should I need any advice on financial planning! | | | | Chang Kai-Hsun QA Engineer Having known Wil-son for a few years, he is very friendly and helpful at whatever occasion I had seen. Recently he approached me for a chat and reviewed my policies. He came just at the right moment, as I plan to make use of my CPF.
The way he delivered his comments and suggestions, was very calm and polite, just like a friend who is recommending some of his good purchase in a very professional way.
Apart from giving introduction on the wealth protection schemes, he also patiently gives suggestion to maximize my guaranteed wealth growth before considering any CPF investment plans from him, I find it very knowledgeable and useful.
He put himself in my shoes and give suggestion that would be the most beneficial for me, and when he is giving introductions to a policy, there is not a feel that he want you to buy that, and I hope that I can meet more agents with those kind of characteristic.
I am glad to have him as my agent. Thank you!! | | | | Wil-son I started out in this career believing that buying insurance products was a no brainer as it transfers our risk to the insurers.
Someone once said this to me : Did you know insurance is created by the rich and for the rich?
I guess indeed for the rich, they do have knowledge to capitalize on insurance/investment products to multiply what they already have. Hence, the potential insurance could bring for everyone.
How about the rest of us whom "are not so rich"?
I learnt the foundation of Financial planning and the first thing I did was to plan for my own family. To get rich? Nope. The first things my wife and I focused on was health, accident and protection plans. These do not make us rich.
What these plans does: 1. If we fall sick, we do not become burden to the family 2. If we passed on, our kids are able to survive till they can earn a living and our mothers are taken care of till a ripe old age.
I believe my concept of PROTECTING the family first, is important. How do I plan for others if I cannot even take care of my own family planning first?
I hope my clients could trust me to plan for their protection too. | | | | Joan Tong Associate Manager, Heartzmail It's a true blessing to have a user and client like Wil-son and I'm glad to be able to meet him face-to-face after having him onboard with us for the past two years.
From the first interactions over the phone and via WhatsApp, Wil-son proved to be one of the most polite and proactive users that I have come across - always asking me good questions on how best he can utilise and maximise the services on our platform. Not to mention he has a very friendly demeanour too, which I appreciate very much.
Seeing how proficient he's become with the system and how creatively he uses it to deliver value to his own clients, I cannot be more proud and heartened. His positivity and forward-lookingness (if there's even such a word) makes him an asset -- not just to us, but also to his co-workers and his own clients.
Keep shining and wishing you all the very best, Wil-son! | | | | Jeviene Sim Sales Operation Specialist F5 Networks Singapore Pte Ltd I am truly glad to met Wil-son during my financial planning journey.
Wil-son always put in the extra miles, to manage my expectations, and needs by comparing the policies across the various companies.
Over the years, we became friends, and I could bring up difficult conversations to discuss with him. Thank you for the friendship and for all the advises along the way. | | | | |
