In August 2020, I was unexpectedly hospitalized for the first time in my life (besides pregnancy and childbirth, that is) for appendicitis. I was distressed over my health and hit by the realization that I did not have a hospital plan that could cover my hospital bills.
Given my age, I was also unsure on whether insurance companies would be willing to provide me with the adequate coverage. I was then introduced to Wil-son by my daughter, who went the extra mile to search and analyze insurance policies, before patiently explaining and recommending the most appropriate coverage for me.
I am much appreciative for the patience and support rendered by Wil-son during this difficult period and his sincerity and genuine concern towards his clients.
To me, he is not an agent, but a trusted family friend. | | | Chang Kai-Hsun QA Engineer Having known Wil-son for a few years, he is very friendly and helpful at whatever occasion I had seen. Recently he approached me for a chat and reviewed my policies. He came just at the right moment, as I plan to make use of my CPF.
The way he delivered his comments and suggestions, was very calm and polite, just like a friend who is recommending some of his good purchase in a very professional way.
Apart from giving introduction on the wealth protection schemes, he also patiently gives suggestion to maximize my guaranteed wealth growth before considering any CPF investment plans from him, I find it very knowledgeable and useful.
He put himself in my shoes and give suggestion that would be the most beneficial for me, and when he is giving introductions to a policy, there is not a feel that he want you to buy that, and I hope that I can meet more agents with those kind of characteristic.
I am glad to have him as my agent. Thank you!! | | | Wil-son I started out in this career believing that buying insurance products was a no brainer as it transfers our risk to the insurers.
Someone once said this to me : Did you know insurance is created by the rich and for the rich?
I guess indeed for the rich, they do have knowledge to capitalize on insurance/investment products to multiply what they already have. Hence, the potential insurance could bring for everyone.
How about the rest of us whom "are not so rich"?
I learnt the foundation of Financial planning and the first thing I did was to plan for my own family. To get rich? Nope. The first things my wife and I focused on was health, accident and protection plans. These do not make us rich.
What these plans does: 1. If we fall sick, we do not become burden to the family 2. If we passed on, our kids are able to survive till they can earn a living and our mothers are taken care of till a ripe old age.
I believe my concept of PROTECTING the family first, is important. How do I plan for others if I cannot even take care of my own family planning first?
I hope my clients could trust me to plan for their protection too. | | | Xie Yao Human Resource (Non Face-to-Face Client, COVID-19 Circuit Breaker Period) I will highly recommend Wilson because he is very approachable, genuine yet professional. I have been bombing him with questions to and fro before finalising my decision. But he was very patient and attentive to my needs.
I signed my first policy with him without feeling any pressure and was given ample cooling time to decide. After a couple of years, he still consistently make the effort to engage and follow up on my well-being. He always put customers and their well-being before anything! | | | Clarissa Referred Client since 2019 I have known Wil-son for approximately 5 years. I started supporting Wil-son by getting a investment linked policy from him.
He follows up, by helping me to monitor the funds frequently, and informs me of new opportunities whenever there is one. He is also very willing to share his knowledge about funds and investment.
He also frequently checks in on me and my family, he feels more of a family friend than a financial planner.
Though Wil-son is rather new in the insurance field, he is constantly trying to learn new things. Certain questions that I have asked Wil-son, he answers without biasness, a trait that I seldom see in other agents.
Moreover, Wil-son is very honest, he clearly tells you that he is uncertain when he does not clearly know the answer. He does not just stop there, he will find out more information and give me a detailed explanation.
Wil-son is also not pushy, he starts off by understanding about my situation before advising me on what policies to get. He does not pressure you to get a policy from him, this trait made him stand out as a trusted financial planner. | | | Jeviene Sim Sales Operation Specialist F5 Networks Singapore Pte Ltd I am truly glad to met Wil-son during my financial planning journey.
Wil-son always put in the extra miles, to manage my expectations, and needs by comparing the policies across the various companies.
Over the years, we became friends, and I could bring up difficult conversations to discuss with him. Thank you for the friendship and for all the advises along the way. | | | | |
