Mango Tan
Supportive client and wife

Wil-son is my husband and also our family's financial strategist.

To be honest, I do not like "insurance agents" although I was one myself some years back. I remember how agents always go into telling me how it would be great to start a savings regime and I agree. However, what they didn't tell me is I should probably get a medical plan first so in any event I'm hospitalized, I do not have to burden my family with any medical costs.

My husband believes in starting right with insurance and he helps people manage their money so that having insurance does not becomes a liability.

He feels that people could leverage on insurance to spread their economic risks with the right planning and save them from any unnecessary stress and worries, allowing them to focus on the people they love when they need them.

I would say his value comes from planning with me and not for me.

Associate Manager, Heartzmail

It's a true blessing to have a user and client like Wil-son and I'm glad to be able to meet him face-to-face after having him onboard with us for the past two years.

From the first interactions over the phone and via WhatsApp, Wil-son proved to be one of the most polite and proactive users that I have come across - always asking me good questions on how best he can utilise and maximise the services on our platform. Not to mention he has a very friendly demeanour too, which I appreciate very much.

Seeing how proficient he's become with the system and how creatively he uses it to deliver value to his own clients, I cannot be more proud and heartened. His positivity and forward-lookingness (if there's even such a word) makes him an asset -- not just to us, but also to his co-workers and his own clients.

Keep shining and wishing you all the very best, Wil-son!

Wai Fong
Retiree
Client since 2020

2020 has been a trying year for everyone with the ongoing pandemic, and more so for me. In August 2020, I was unexpectedly hospitalized for the first time in my life (besides pregnancy and childbirth, that is) for appendicitis. I was distressed over my health and hit by the realization that I did not have a hospital plan that could cover my hospital bills.

Given my age, I was also unsure on whether insurance companies would be willing to provide me with the adequate coverage. I was then introduced to Wil-son by my daughter, who went the extra mile to search and analyze insurance policies, before patiently explaining and recommending the most appropriate coverage for me.

I am much appreciative for the patience and support rendered by Wil-son during this difficult period and his sincerity and genuine concern towards his clients.

To me, he is not an agent, but a trusted family friend.

Clarissa
Referred Client since 2019

I have known Wil-son for approximately 5 years. I started supporting Wil-son by getting a investment linked policy from him.

He follows up, by helping me to monitor the funds frequently, and informs me of new opportunities whenever there is one. He is also very willing to share his knowledge about funds and investment.

He also frequently checks in on me and my family, he feels more of a family friend than a financial planner.

Though Wil-son is rather new in the insurance field, he is constantly trying to learn new things. Certain questions that I have asked Wil-son, he answers without biasness, a trait that I seldom see in other agents.

Moreover, Wil-son is very honest, he clearly tells you that he is uncertain when he does not clearly know the answer. He does not just stop there, he will find out more information and give me a detailed explanation.

Wil-son is also not pushy, he starts off by understanding about my situation before advising me on what policies to get. He does not pressure you to get a policy from him, this trait made him stand out as a trusted financial planner.

How Chih Wah
Trading Representative (Remisier)

I know Wil-son since primary school, really can't deny his care towards friends and all those who know him.

I think he will be the right person for this career that he is undertaking, you will surely get the kind of attention that you would probably can't get from anyone.

For example, I have not been in touch with Wil-son for a long time, he will still remember my birthday and surely to send my Birthday wishes.

So, vouch his level of care for those he knows.

Wil-son

I started out in this career believing that buying insurance products was a no brainer as it transfers our risk to the insurers.

Someone once said this to me : Did you know insurance is created by the rich and for the rich?

I guess indeed for the rich, they do have knowledge to capitalize on insurance/investment products to multiply what they already have. Hence, the potential insurance could bring for everyone.

How about the rest of us whom "are not so rich"?

I learnt the foundation of Financial planning and the first thing I did was to plan for my own family. To get rich? Nope. The first things my wife and I focused on was health, accident and protection plans. These do not make us rich.

What these plans does:
1. If we fall sick, we do not become burden to the family
2. If we passed on, our kids are able to survive till they can earn a living and our mothers are taken care of till a ripe old age.

I believe my concept of PROTECTING the family first, is important. How do I plan for others if I cannot even take care of my own family planning first?

I hope my clients could trust me to plan for their protection too.
